Rafting or white water rafting is the challenging recreational outdoor activity of using an inflatable raft to navigate a river or other bodies of water. This is usually done on white water or different degrees of rough water, in order to thrill and excite the raft passengers. The development of this activity as a leisure sport has become popular since the mid-1970s. It is considered an extreme sport, as it can be dangerous.

Important Information For River Rafting

1. What are the age and health requirenents for rafting/can children for for rafting?
Ans: Minimum 12 years however we have rafting stretchs for below 12 yers. There is no upper age limit for rafting and can be done by anybody (except for those with serious medical problem)
2.Do I need to know swimming to do rafting?
Ans: No. Because we provide life jackets in case you not know to swim you are always in the hand of our expert guide. Our guide will give you suggestions and you have to follow them.
3. What do I need to wear for rafting?
Ans: For the month of (March to November) you need to wear short and T-shirts along with the foot wear is adequate and for the month of (December to February) you need to wear only thermal underwear. Underwear the wetsuit and in the colder month we provide wetsuits in addition to a paddling jacket, life jacket and helmet which is adequate.
4. Is Rafting safe?
Ans: The rapids of Ganga are ideal for the first time rafters. The rapids are thrilling yet safe. Our experienced guides which will instruct you in basic paddling technique and safely procedures. So Rafting is absolutely safe.
